Cruising Through Change

In my experience, change does not come easy and can be extremely challenging. I am certainly a creature of habit and just love the feelings of stability I get from a constant in my life. This year I have had a lot of change and that it what has led me to write about my experience today. The three strategies include a gratitude practise, yoga and meditation using mantas and using essential oils.

“Light and flow is what shifts the world’s vibration, not the stagnation and resistance that comes with opposition”.
Alaric Hutchinson

So much happening and so much change around me right now. I thought I’d run through some of my strategies for cruising through change. They are really simple and can be added into your day wherever you are.

I’m always banging on about being open to change and that if something unexpected happens then one should embrace it as it was meant to be that way. The change is actually steering you in the direction in which you need to head to achieve your goals, most of the time. Well seriously I have so many changes at the moment that it really is actually challenging me. It got me thinking about my coping strategies through change and what has actually helped me. What’s keeping me steady is my ability to see the positive in every situation. I think if I didn’t have this at the moment and my oils and yoga practise I would be on a rather rocky ground. Instead I feel firmly grounded with a sea of water moving all around me at the moment.

First strategy is incorporating a gratitude practise into your day. A Gratitude practise is a sure way to get you focusing on the positives. You can start a journal or commit to a daily practise of writing down 3 things you are grateful for. For me it changed the way I look at the world and really started to raise that deep feeling of contentment. I am truly grateful for all the good people, experiences and things that I have in my life today. I like to do this first thing in the morning and as the sunsets. I also call on it at any point throughout the day when I feel I need to.

I’ve been calling in change for the last little while. Its funny, we think we want something really bad and then when we realise what is required to get it, we start to question if we really want it or not. This then leads to another shift further away from our goals. This time its a little different, I feel completely ready for change. I am saying yes, no matter what. I have complete faith that it’s happening for the highest purpose highest good. A few years ago now I decided to say YES to things that made me feel good. I simply decided to say YES. Things that I may not have ever done before, here I was saying yes. So another strategy for cruising through change is to say YES. Give it a try. Try something new, change it up. Look at things from a new perspective.

So as I breathe deeply and inhale DoTERRA Balance, rolling it on the arches of my feet, I feel calm, grounded and firm in this moment. I roll Doterra Motivate over my solar plexus chakra and use EFT tapping to call in the fire in my belly. I use the Affirmations I am strong and steady on my feet that are firmly connected to Mother Earth. I am wide open to new ways of being for the highest purpose highest good of all.

When the fear rises, I put Doterra Forgive on my heart and Doterra Elevation on my crown chakra, ask for Devine guidance and roll out my yoga mat to recite the mantra Sat ta na ma ‘Peace Begins With Me’ while tapping my fingers. I apply Doterra Peace to my throat chakra. I find this mantra very helpful in cruising through change. I feel like it breaks up the fear, the doubt and plants seeds of hope.

What strategies do you use to cruise through change? or do you choose to cope with change? I’d love to hear your thoughts, tell me in comments…
